Eat Drink Walk Perth — Bar Tour

“The 3-hour bar tour was our second, having taken a bespoke tour in August with 26 family members but the first walking tour for our friends. Our guide, Beth, was entertaining and well informed, taking us to three very different venues, the first of which was fun and totally met our expectations. Sadly, pizzas at the second venue were disappointing with only two different toppings on the three pizzas ordered. Given, there were 2 folk in the group with food allergies so this may have reduced the number of pizzas ordered but the gluten-free option was potato-type wedges. This wasn't terribly exciting when the rest of us were eating pizza! The final venue was tucked at the side of Yagan Square and quite evidently about to close. It would have been great to have ended the night at an upbeat bar. As it was, we retraced our steps and visited Fromage Artisan but unfortunately they close at 10.00pm on a Thursday night so all we could do was purchase some cheese and crackers and take them back to our hotel room. Perhaps Beth wasn't aware of the trading hours but having shown us the venue knowing our intention to finish our evening there, we were disappointed. Overall, taking a walking tour with Two Feet & A Heartbeat is an excellent form of infotainment and we'd recommend it to locals and visitors alike.”
