Two Feet & a Heartbeat ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or book a tour, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

  • Information you give us: when you submit an enquiry or contact form, we collect the name, email, phone number and message details you provide so we can respond and arrange your tour.
  • Bookings: tour bookings and payments are handled by our booking provider, Rezdy. When you book, the details you enter are processed by Rezdy under their own privacy terms; we receive the booking information needed to run your tour.
  • Information we collect automatically: when you use the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners collect usage and device information through cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies — for example your approximate location, IP address, device and browser, referring pages, and the pages and links you interact with.
  • Information from other sources: we may receive information about you from social media and advertising platforms and from partners that help us run and measure our marketing.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries; deliver, improve, personalise and develop our tours and website; process bookings through Rezdy; measure and analyse how our site and marketing perform; send you marketing and offers and show you relevant advertising (you can opt out at any time); protect against fraud and misuse; and meet our legal obligations. We may combine the information described above, and we may use aggregated or de-identified data for any purpose. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information with the providers and partners that help us deliver, measure and promote our service — including our booking provider (Rezdy), our email provider, our analytics providers and advertising platforms — and where required or permitted by law. Tour partner venues receive only the information needed to host your group.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process personal information outside Australia — in particular our analytics, email-delivery and advertising providers, which are located in the United States. Our booking provider, Rezdy, is an Australian company. By using this website or making an enquiry or booking, you consent to your personal information being disclosed to recipients located overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the APPs.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, performance, functionality and advertising, including third-party tools such as Google Analytics and advertising platforms. These help us understand site usage, remember your preferences, and measure and target our marketing. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will respond in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, including notifying affected individuals and the OAIC where required.

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, to run our tours and operations, and for as long as we are permitted or required to keep it under Australian law. When information is no longer needed for any lawful purpose, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Dealing with us anonymously

Where it is lawful and practicable, you may deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym, such as for a general enquiry. We will usually need your contact details to respond to you or to arrange and run a tour.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the APPs, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You may also ask us to delete it, and we will do so where we are not required to keep it (for example, booking records we must retain by law). To opt out of marketing, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us. Email info@twofeet.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information or breached the APPs, email info@twofeet.com.au with the details. We will acknowledge and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
