Highly recommend a Scavenger Hunt with Two Feet and Heartbeat! So much fun for the whole family and Jack is such a pleasure to work with from my first call to the session today. Get to learn about Perth, get some exercise and have a ridiculous amount of fun.

Why explore Fremantle on foot

Fremantle Food Lovers Tour — Perth walking tour photo 1

“Freo” is a town built for walking: heritage limestone facades, street art, cafes and stories waiting on every corner. Once home to whaling stations and mass immigration, it's now celebrated for its music, culture and history.

Convict heritage

Hear how almost 10,000 convicts were transported from Britain and Ireland — and how they built their own prison, now a World Heritage site.

Street art & culture

Heritage streets full of murals and local stories, starting at the Visitor Information Centre at Walyalup Koort.

A celebrated food scene

A progressive tasting tour through Freo's best restaurants and bars — entrée, main and dessert, each with a paired drink.

Dark tales after dark

Riots, theft, murders and mutinies behind the port's beautiful facades on the adults-only Crimes of Fremantle evening walk.

Frequently asked questions

What you need to know before a walking tour in Fremantle.

What should I wear?

Dress for the weather and for comfort — sensible shoes recommended. For tours visiting licensed venues, smart casual is the go.

Can children come on tour?

Children over 8 typically enjoy Fremantle Convicts & Colonials, the Coffee, Culture and Art tour, and Perth's Premier Pathways — and for private groups, the Perth and Fremantle scavenger hunts are particularly fun. Children under 8 may find the distances challenging. With prior notice, private tours can be modified to suit children. Some tours are adults-only — including Crimes of Perth, Crimes of Fremantle and the East Perth Cemeteries tour (16+) — and tours visiting licensed venues aren't suitable for minors.

Are Two Feet tours for me?

Yes! Two Feet tours are designed to appeal to all ages and demographics — we regularly host small children, seniors groups and everything in between. We've guided thousands of locals, interstate and international guests over the years, and they all love our tours. You will too.

What's a good private dining experience for a team in Fremantle?

The Two Feet Progressive Dinner is a guided three-course evening across three of Fremantle's finest restaurants, with drinks included throughout. A local guide leads the group between venues, sharing the stories of Fremantle's food scene as you go. It runs most Friday evenings as a public event for up to 20 guests, and can be booked as a fully private experience for corporate groups and special occasions. Price varies by group size — enquire via the corporate page for a quote.

Is there a food tour in Fremantle for a birthday celebration or special occasion?

The Fremantle Food and Bar Tour is a three-hour guided tasting experience visiting three of Fremantle's best bars and food venues, with locally sourced food and drinks included. It runs as a public tour and is popular with birthday groups and celebrations. For a private group (from 2 to 250), any public tour can be run exclusively for your group with a flexible start time. Book via the private tours page for a birthday or celebration enquiry.

Are there walking tours in Perth or Fremantle that run in the evening?

Yes. Several Two Feet tours are designed specifically for the evening. Crimes of Perth is a 90-minute after-dark tour of Perth's criminal underworld, departing in the early evening. The Fremantle Food and Bar Tour and the Progressive Dinner both run as evening experiences. The Perth Gin Distillery Tour visits a working gin distillery after hours. Check individual tour pages for current departure times — evening departures are clearly listed in the booking calendar.
