Uncover The Cross of the 1920’s and 30’s when gangs waged war with razors rather than guns. Hear stories of murder, sly grog, prostitution, gambling and cocaine mostly controlled by the dangerous women of the Cross.
These women controlled bootleg alcohol distribution and much of Sydney's illegal sex industry during that period while the men’s blood ran thick on the street. On this tour, with a friendly Sydneysider as your guide, you will be safely guided around the streets and alleyways of Kings Cross and explore this interesting period of Australian history.
Everything finishes up at a local bar in The Cross where the first drink is on us! Don't miss this rare opportunity for a taste of Australia’s rich social and cultural history.

Tour Comments

I just wanted to provide some feedback from our walk that occurred on Sat 31st March 2012. Our tour guide Kim was really great! Lots of information to share and encouraged lots of questions from us and was very confident in answering any questions we fired at him. I would definitely use your company in the future for other walking tours. Do you have a email newsletter that you send out when you have specials on etc? Hopefully you get forward my feedback to Kim and let him know all six of us in my party loved the evening. He is very much in the correct profession!
