- Saturday 5 December, evening: Crimes of Perth if it is scheduled that week. 1.5 hours, $60, select evenings only.

Perth's Premier Pathways: the arrival-day walk
Two and a half hours through the CBD's arcades, laneways and street art: Perth Town Hall, London Court, the State Buildings and Wolf Lane, finishing at Yagan Square about 4:30 pm. The pace is relaxed, the distance is easy on travel-tired legs, and a beverage is included. $69 adult, $45 child.
Ideal timing: arrival day, Thursday 3 December, or the day after your events wrap. The usual 2:00 pm departure clashes with daytime competition, so keep it off race days.
Fremantle Convicts, Culture & Street Art: the morning after
Two hours through Fremantle's convict past, port culture and street art, with a morning beverage included. Recent departures leave at 10:00 am. $65 adult, $45 child.
Ideal timing: Monday 7 December if your athlete is not in the Schools Challenge, or Tuesday morning before you fly. The morning start overlaps competition sessions, so it does not fit race days either.
Eat Drink Walk Perth: the parents' night off
Three hours, three small bars, about 40 minutes in each, with two drinks and grazing food included. It departs Perth Town Hall at 6:30 pm and wraps up about 9:30 pm in central Perth; extra food and drinks are at your own cost. $89 per adult.
Ideal timing: any evening of the championships. Competition finishes for the day, teens crash at the hotel, parents get three hours off. Book the 6:30 pm bar tour early for the Friday and Saturday of the meet.
