Our tours uncover the Dutch, French, English, and Indigenous history that led to the birth of modern Australia. Students will experience the best possible introduction to our amazing history, and will leave with a real sense of identity and connection to the area.
Students are also presented with a chronological account of why the local area was settled by the British Empire, and its position in relation to the rest of the world.
The stories reflecting the European/Aboriginal relationships in the early years of settlement feature prominently in our tours, and have been approved by indigenous elders, as well as The Department of Culture and Arts.
The stories shared on our tours are formulated specifically for the age group of the students to ensure that they are easily understood. Guides present material in a friendly and conversational manner. Guides have working with children certificates.
